Gerald M. (Mike) Collins was a Special Agent of the FBI from 1968 until his retirement in 1999.  During that time he served in the Boston, New York and Jacksonville Field Offices.  He was involved in the conduct and/or supervision of general criminal, white collar crime, labor racketeering, organized crime, and narcotics investigations, government civil litigation, obstruction of justice cases, as well as foreign counterintelligence and counterterrorism matters.  During his career he was also trained, and functioned as a Police Instructor, Crisis Negotiator, Evidence Response Team member, and as Field Office Aviation Operations Coordinator.  During his long career in the FBI, Mr. Collins was the recipient of numerous commendations and incentive awards for his investigative and case management skills.

From 1963 until 1968, Mr. Collins served as a Special Agent with the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI) with operational assignments in the continental United States and Southeast Asia.  During that period, he performed the duties of Special Investigations Officer and OSI Detachment Commander.  He conducted and supervised personnel security, general criminal and counterintelligence investigations, as well as being involved in the Distinguished Visitor Protection Program.  His last assignment was at the OSI Directorate in Washington, D.C. where he was an instructor at the Special Investigations School in such courses as the collection and preservation of evidence, crime scene and operational photography, and was the Project Officer for the Specialized Counterespionage School.  As an Air Force officer, Mr. Collins received numerous commendations as well as the Airman's Medal, Air Force Commendation with Oak Leaf Cluster, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Presidential Unit Citation.

With almost 40 years of investigative and law enforcement experience, Mr. Collins is able to provide his clients access to his vast experience, superior performance, and extensive resources. 

Mr. Collins is a member of  The Society of Former Agents of the FBI, Inc., The Association of Former Intelligence Officers , and The Association of Former OSI Special Agents.  He is also a Lifetime Member of the FBI Agents Association, and the J. Edgar Hoover Center for Law Enforcement.
